Dumpsters full of…fortune cookies?

Posted in Commercial Dumpster Rental, Weird Finds on June 30th, 2009

In all our time providing dumpster rental service to the North Shore, we can’t say we’ve ever seen anything like this. Hal Bergman was driving around Los Angeles looking to shoot some photo and video when he came across dumpsters in a dead-end alley filled to the top with fortune cookies! Check out the rest of the photos on his flickr photoset. Maybe we should start documenting weird finds in our dumpsters and roll-off containers.

What is the difference between front load & rear load container service?

Posted in Commercial Dumpster Rental on February 18th, 2009

Both are two popular methods haulers choose from when collecting your waste and recycling.

Our rear load service works like this:

  • A clean rear load dumpster is placed at location.
  • Our rear load truck arrives to service your container on scheduled days.
  • Rear load truck backs up to dumpster.
  • Rear load driver exits the truck to service container.
  • After servicing container driver inspects area and cleans if necessary.
  • Driver makes sure all lids are closed properly
  • Driver proceeds to next location

A typical front load service works like this:

  • A front load dumpster is placed at location (metal or plastic available; sizes range 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 yards)
  • A Front Load truck arrives to service container on scheduled days (Wheels and Locks can be requested)
  • Front load truck pulls up to container.
  • Front load Drive remains in the truck to service container.
  • Driver proceeds to next location.
